Camel & Spring Summer 2011

Spring/Summer 2011 is officially posted on Supermaggie  - Yay!!  We have nine new designs this time including Camels and Happy Flowers and 10,000 Circles.  We also have a bunch of new bodies and colors that our designs are printed on.

I thought it might be nice to do a little post on each of the new designs. So first up is the Camel.  Why a Camel - well why not?  The Camel (aka Herman named by Tara of Custard Boutique in Savannah who I believe just received a run of Camel shirts)  has been lingering in my sketchbook for a couple years now.  I decided he need to get out into the world so here he is.

Very awkward original drawing
Cleaned up and scanned into the computer then printed out as a transparency.
Screen for the Camel, inked up and ready to go.
We print the camel on a bunch of different tops and tees for women and men so check out Supermaggie to see all the options :)

It's Done! Well almost...

After an insane amount of hard work Michael has pretty much finished the new Supermaggie website.  We are in the process of debugging and editing a few things and we could use a little help.  If you have a few minutes check it out and shoot us an email if you find any bugs, if anything looks funky or doesn't load properly. We also posted our new spring line but more on that later.

Roadtrip photos + POOL Tradeshow

Last week Michael and I drove to Las Vegas for POOL to show the Supermaggie spring line. We had a good show, saw some of our regular stores and picked up some new accounts.  I managed to not go outside for three days because the convention center is connected to the hotel.  It's like being on a giant airplane for three days.
Supermaggie booth!

View from our room at the Luxor.  I really don't like staying at casinos.

We saw this alien while passing through Roswell, NM

We saw the Hoover Dam from the new bypass.

We drove really fast across west Texas.

We saw some amazing sunsets.
